Join a business who are a trusted Finance Broker based in Wollongong. They hold a wealth of expertise and knowledge and are well networked and respected in the local area. Due to their success and organic growth, they are looking to add additional support to the team that will assist in the loan administration and broker support to their Senior Brokers and Directors.


Your new role

This role will come with full training and support from industry professionals and so, is open to entry-level candidates who have graduated in Commerce, Finance or Accounting and to those who already hold experience in Financial Services.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing and submitting finance applications to lenders
  • Processing loan applications through to settlement
  • Attending client meetings with Brokers & Directors and supporting them as required
  • Liaising with clients, lenders and referral sources to ensure timely and smooth loan processing whilst providing proactive updates
  • Adhere to all processes and complete all compliance requirements
  • Building your knowledge and growing into an individual who can promote and seek new lending opportunities, conduct product research and make recommendations to new and existing clients for loan restructures

What you'll need to succeed

  • A passion and genuine interest in banking and lending
  • A related degree (Commerce, Finance or Accounting) and/or previous experience in a financial services role
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal and confident in speaking to a wide range of stakeholders and customers
  • A professional and customer focused attitude with the motivation to perform well
  • A proactive approach with the ability to think outside the box, adapt and to work independently
  • Be able to work full time hours in the office in a permanent role
  • Cert IV in financial services is desired but not essential
